Growing with Pride: Maggie's Organic Market!
Maggie’s Organic Market is operated by Magnolia Kids Club, a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization. Our market is located outdoors in Acadiana Mall’s parking lot, directly behind Mr. C’s Landing. By securing space for a year-round market, and we are excited to differentiate ourselves by positioning our market as a “farmers’ and makers’ market” that exclusively features vendors selling homemade, handcrafted, and homegrown products. Through our Farmers’ Market and Food Pantry, we aim to reduce food insecurity and bring local families together.
The Roots of Maggie's Organic Market: Workshops for Children
The Power of Produce (POP) Club is sponsored by Sweet Magnolia's Creamery and provides a fun opportunity for children to engage in the local food system through conversations directly with farmers, educational games and demonstrations, and exposure to new fruits and vegetables. In addition to participating in educational activities, POP Club kids receive POP Club tokens to spend at Sweet Magnolia's, allowing them to make their own #supersweet shopping decision at the market. This program is set-up for ages 3-12.
At Maggie's Organic Market we're all about supporting local businesses, especially those run by the next generation of entrepreneurs. That's why we host a monthly Youth Entrepreneurship meeting, led by our market manager. These sessions provide young business-minded individuals with the resources and support they need to create a solid business plan and develop a strong brand identity. We're passionate about empowering youth, and through these meetings, we aim to inspire the next generation of successful business owners.

Our primary focus is to provide the community with access to fresh, local produce and locally made goods. Our weekly markets are designed to showcase local farmers, artisans, and small businesses, who are dedicated to providing quality products to the community. Each market is uniquely themed to ensure inclusivity and diversity in our selection of vendors. Join us every Sunday from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, rain or shine, and experience the local flavor and charm of Maggie’s Organic Market.
